This Empoli vase is 12" high x 5" max diameter. There is a metallic label which reads "Rossini, Hand Made, Genuine Empoli Glass, Italy". This vase is ribbed, but that can only be felt at the lower part of the vase above the base. It can be seen in the body of the vase. The color is predominately red with a bit of amber in some places. There are a couple of black specks and a couple of bubbles in the glass.
According to Glass Encyclopedia, Rossini was an American importer and the true makers of its products is not known. Possibly sourced from various glass houses.

Thrift shop find for $1.99. As far as I am aware, this is my only piece of Empoli glass. From what I have read it was probably made ca 1950s-1960s.
Gorgeous Empoli vase, what a lovely color
Thanks, Jenni! It is hard to capture the amber component and really do it justice.
