vintage MOOD SETTER ceiling fan remote control kit

Appearing new and unused in its box (which has come apart but still holds everything) is this MOOD SETTER wireless remote control ceiling fan and light dimmer switch. Must have been quite the novel thing back in 1984 when ceiling fans were making a huge comeback everywhere, but they all had pullchain control switches even if they'd been profe$$ionally wired into one's house so you could turn on the light *or* the fan independently from a wall switch too. Now it'd be ubiquitous of course, these days when people can run their whole houses and everything in 'em from a d*mned cellphone -- but then, well somebody happily paid 25 bucks for this kit anyway, even if they never used it...??

The 'easy installation instructions' are on the back of the box, which still holds all the parts in its styrofoam compartments. Looks like it was a gizmo that'd theoretically fit inside the typical ceiling canopy/bezel and hook into it, I didn't study it that closely... :-)
