      Hi, HatsuFujiwara. :-)

Per the International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society (ISMACS) website, serial number AH403606 was one of a block of 35,000 consecutive serial numbers ([AH]378571 through [AH]413570 ) allotted January 5 1948 to the Elizabethport factory and all were destined to be stamped into the beds of model 15 sewing machine heads:

      AH 378571 413570 15 35000 Jan 5 1948

      AH 512921 547920 15 35000 April 1 1948

      ELIZABETHPORT
      AH series 1947 1948

FYI, the reason I excerpted that second line of information from the serial number table is to give you an idea of when your machine probably rolled off of the assembly line, i.e., some time between the allotment date of its particular serial number block and that of the next block destined for model 15 machines.

      About the model 15:

Your particular submodel looks like it might be the 15-88:

Here is a generic manual for the model 15:

However, it's a lot to sift through, so if you have questions (other than monetary value), just ask them here in a comment on your post.
