Sitting here today looking at my some of my "stuff". Remembering where the pieces were found and acquired back in the day. Remembering how heavy actual railroad stuff can be, and remembering lugging them around to displays and events. I'll never do that again! Since I like all things railroad I started collecting miniatures of certain pieces. Hey, much lighter to transport if need be. The miniature bell is nearly as rare as its original, very heavy big brother. I've posted its history a few years ago. The Keystone plate is a miniature of a real K4s plate, probably made for the live steam hobbyist. Displays nicely with its counterpart as well. The original Clawfoot marker lights from a K4s tender are also pretty rare, and expensive if you do find them. It's miniature counterpart was located in Australia of all places. A live steam modeler from down under was scratch building a live steam PRR K4s locomotive and he scratch built 7 clawfoot markers for it. He used 6 and sold the extra one to me. Absolutely beautiful workmanship with a lathe. Now to find a miniature K4s 3 Chime Whistle. The nearly 100 pound originals also stay put in the display now too!

Very nice railroadiana, I'm partial because grandfather was a railroad car repairman foreman :)
