      Really pretty beautiful little bird- he's so spiky, like the twigs I imagine his sitting on! He's plain in color apart from the little pink(and green...?) stones. Because of the spiny/spiky-ness, he's not a design you see every day.

      nice brooch good time of the year to wear it ,.. we have tons of humming birds here due to the yard full of B bomb-flowers here..stay cool.

      Thank you Phil for your awesome comment, I too think the rhinestones were very deftly placed here, esp the touch of pink making the eye & flowered branch come to life

      Lauren isn't the spiky open metal design unusual, I think it actually brings more movement to the bird cause it seems to be flapping its wing poised for flight! The colors in the flowered branch really do enhance the brooch I totally agree. Fabulous praise thanks so very much

They are beautiful little birds but so fast and elusive, I've only seen them on TV documentaries. What a cheerful sight in the summer, you stay cool as well & I will be wearing this birdie soon
