cast metal 'table mount' electrical outlet assembly

From my assorted old electric things department ;-) and from the days not really all that long ago (but OTOH sorta also now eons apart?) when any odd person-in-general that would want to occupy a seat at a big library or conference table somewhere *wouldn't* otherwise also have half a dozen assorted chargers/cords for whatnot electronic crap, now sorta deemed *essential* to their presence there for the most part... <sigh> They've also been widely used in laboratory environments, maybe particularly in classrooms and such -- but once more slightly before every other potential user came bearing their own assortments of plug-in-stuff -- they were there intended for more occasional, truly "convenience" reasons.

This one, no doubt similar were made by other electrical equipment companies too, is labeled as by WALKER. It consists of a cast aluminum baseplate and cover housing made to hold a standard 120v (US) duplex outlet. I here have it mounted to a scrap of plywood on a cord instead of an actual tabletop, I don't recall offhand if there are any other markings on its bottom besides the name on its outside.
