This object was given to me about 25 years ago by an avid businessman traveler frequently to China in the 80's & 90's.
If anyone has any idea of what the history or translation might be it would be greatly appreciated.
there is one full image of the piece, and one image of a mark or signature in lower right cornered one image of the markings on the back of the wood board it is painted on.
