Here is a 7 1-2"H ruby red glass modernist style fish vase which was item #2497, the Flying Fish vase from Fostoria Glass of Ohio ca 1965. See photo & description in pic #4 from book Glass Animals by Spencer

He's cool- but also looks like one of those angelfishes? (The tall b/w ones?)
It's the unique style of his wings/fins?! He's flapping them so hard to try and keep airborne- maybe that's what it is?! XD

Lol this is a funny looking fish vase with those Mick Jagger lips and spiky shape, glad it gave you a chuckle...when I saw it was from Fostoria I was kinda surprised as they were usually more traditional, but it was the wild 60s after all! Love the deep red color too
