I found this particular spoon about 20 years ago on a small island at a lake here in Texas. There were many homes, farms, and communities inundated by this lake. Its badly corroded and patinated light green like copper does. Ive looked through it with my loupe after light cleaning with soap and brush but cannot make out any of the markings. Im kind of scared to get real rough with it and like the patinated look. Any ideas on how old it may be? Maker? Material? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It was probably silver plated at one point as copper was often used as the base metal, and the green is verdigris

Thats what i was kind of thinking Maryh. I didnt figure it would be copperas the outermost material but that it was the base material. Thanks so much for your input!
