This Anzengruber pottery head is 6" high x 3" wide x 3"deep. It is signed "ANZENGRUBER KERAMIK 24" on the bottom. The earring and necklace are, I think, brass. 1950s?
This was a $2.99 thrift shop find today. Actually, it has been on a back shelf at my local thrift shop for a few months but I did not reach back to grab it because I figured it was probably junk. Not junk!
I blew $6.27 today at a thrift shop for this, a celadon vase and an oil painting. All three pretty good stuff. I did not realize until I saw these images that there was a lot of lint in this piece from the paper towel I used to wipe it down. I cannot find any damage or wear on it except for maybe a bit where the earring goes through the bottom of the ear..
WHAT A FABULOUS FIND !!!
CONGRATULATIONS !!!!
