I have completed the final restoration steps i have all the tools ; dusting brush , crevice tool , upholstery brush , floor brush , rug shoe, metal rug tool with concentrator nozzle , hose , 2 sets of wands and machien and also many many many bags this is my 1971
Compact Interestate Electra model C8 yellow my blue machine is no more so this replaces it .
shes complete finally.

It is a gorgeous example of its family of vacuums -- my only question would be why did your 'blue one' (that I think I recall you showing here too) have to "go away" for you to now have this one...we're all allowed to own more than one of each AFAIK...mine are two 'silver' and a 'red' one at the moment, and any/other/more of 'em of whatever vintage will *never* be refused as potential new additions to my little herd of Compact/Tri-Star machines... ;-) :-) :-) :-)
Kudos and <good work> for also accumulating the whole set of original accessories for it -- those aren't always easy to find?! :-)
My blue one was re painted by me . They did not make the blue 9 long as the red tirstar c ame out 2 years alter .MNy blue one was a custom job by ME
I still have the body of my blue ompact 9 but the motor and some of the parts are shot... high millage so i got my yellow C8 . To replace and fully restore with the fulll tool set .
