Rostrato mantelpiece

does anybody know what is missing?

not sure if it was a clock or another piece of glass

the dog is similar to the silvered bronze Art Deco variations

I put a Murano rostrato globe in the middle but whatever is missing was taller and would hide the screw that holds the dog in place
