This 3" ladies wristwatch is from the 1980s and has both abalone and mother of pearl shell incorporated in the design. The golden frame has Roman numerals with golden hands & minute hand. The face reads Ronica and Quartz with a small line below that reads Thailand Mov1. Reverse imprinted stainless steel back, base metal bezel. The flex stretch band is silvertone on the underside. It is a wind up watch that is still operational.

Very nice! I don't think I've ever seen you upload a wristwatch Jenni, but what a fabulous one- the mother of pearl and abalone give it a very ancient mechanism kinda feel. Abalone is a beautiful material alright! :)
Very great photos Jenni, I like the use of shadows to give the bling colours a chance to stand out !~

Lauren thank you for your marvelous compliments here, you are right I've never posted a wristwatch before, but recently while browsing a vintage site saw this one and was really mesmerized that it had both abalone & mother of pearl bands, reminds me of the ocean and its iridescent marine life. I'm really, really happy that you liked it & love your wonderful description, it certainly has a timeless look to it
Thank you Phil for your super praise esp for my photos! I had a sunny day to use to my advantage when trying to capture the colors of the abalone as well as some of the iridescence of the mother pearl, not an easy task but I tried to show the specialness of this watch to best effect
