This nice old survivor bicycle was handed down to me by my father.
This Montgomery Ward Hawthorne skip tooth bicycle isn't worth a ton of money to a collector - but lots of sentimental value to me.
All original except the tubes, tires, and hub grease.

Cool looking bike !
Reminds me of a beloved old bike I had when I lived in Honolulu a few years ago….burgundy and rust, but with the addition of a basket, it got me all around town for 4 years and only cost me about $65.
Thanks for posting your bike and for making me take this little trip down Memory Lane. ;^)
A cool man's father on this site once owned something similar, gorgeous bike with the "look" !~
