Many of us have jewellery we find along the way in our search for the jewellery we “really collect.” These are some of the brooches I found along the way to Sherman. I completely respect the fact that others may “really collect” these maker names, and that Sherman pieces are part of their Along the Way collections.
The blue snowflake is marked sterling. The amethyst and clear brooch is signed Eisenberg. The pearl tree is marked Trifari. There are perhaps two Czech brooches — filigree and flute back, they are unmarked. The brooch with the large amber crystal/rhinestone chaton is marked vermeil. The brooch in the bottom left facing might be a Juliana. I want the orange opague stone flower brooch to be a Schreiner, but I am not certain that it is. The clear or crystal — since those are Swarovski stones — dome round is a marked JayFlex. The dark pink and dark pink AB brooch, I have been told is perhaps a Schreiner. I’m more inclined to believe Regency. It is unmarked. The brooch to the left facing side of the snowflake is possibly a Juliana.
All brooches here are essentially minty perfect. I think that together they do make an interesting photo.
I wear the snowflake and Trifari tree.
As I said in a recent post, the reality has so changed in the city since April, and vintage jewellery is almost impossible to find now at the prices I want it to be, or at all.
All are approximately 2 1/4” - 2 3/4”.

Really gorgeous assortment of vintage brooches, favorites for me are the Trifari pearl tree (love the red stone accents) and Eisenberg amethyst. Fabulous!
Wonderful collection, love the orange sprig as well as the glossy stoned one second row, second in. Of course all are amazing.
Fantastic collection! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Newfld. I, too, like that Trifari tree. I couldn’t stop looking at it for a long while after I got it.
Dawnlady1 — Hi. Yes, that orange sprig is quite special. I wish I could ID the maker. That glossy stone is the second row is almost a mirror,
Thanks, Andreamw!
