Really nice brooch, my favourite of yours in a long time. I can't decide if he's a salamander, lizard or gecko either, but I'm going to go with lizard as I think geckos have bigger feet and fatter tails?
The line of green gemstones down his body is great, they look like peridots too!
With sincere thanks everyone for the love

Lauren I am totally delighted that this lizard is one of your faves of mine, thanks as always my friend for your fabulous praise! And you are so right that the green stones do have a peridot look to them as well (which I think is your birthstone?). I love all shades of green, this one is very soft & looks quite nice on this fellow. I do agree, the body is really more lizard-like than gecko or salamander, just put it in as some also call it that. Took these pix awhile ago but couldn't get better ones that show the enamel & stone colors really well. He's got great moves doesn't he :)
It looks like some of the lizards here when they shine in the sun.
I love brooches like this, beautifying something others might think icky (technical term)
Lol Karen, actual lizards are pretty icky to me too, I've seen some in Florida and Mexico that were quite scary looking - those tongues! But in jewelry they can really make them pretty, & I really like this little guy. Thank you for your fantastic & spot on comment/love
Thank you Penny for the love for this green lizard, glad you enjoyed it & very grateful to you!
