That I also don't really know anything about, except that I think I really like it...?

The camera flash spot in pic 1 took several tries to get into just the right place to obscure the possibly most 'pornographic' part for this showing, pic 2 is its signatures which seem to date it 1977, #3 & 4 are details of the whole thing.

I'm assuming this one is a ''print" but I don't know that either since I haven't taken it out of its frame. (and don't plan to) There's nothing whatsoever on the backside of its current frame to suggest any further info.

Any more info is welcome if anybody has anything to offer me...? :-) :-) :-)

      AnythingObscure, Cool. :-)

There are two artists named Daerick Gröss, a father and son.

The father has his own wikipedia entry:

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%A6rick_Gr%C3%B6ss_Sr.

(This is neither here nor there, but I find it interesting that he chooses to spell his first name with the two back to back vowels [Dærick instead of Därick] but his surname with an umlaut [Gröss instead of Groess].):

The son seems to have styled himself as DW Gröss, perhaps to avoid all of the senior/junior headaches:

Given the date on your work (1977), I suspect it was done by the father:

You could contact him to confirm (email address at the link above).

The ID of the print of DIONYSUS with the Satyrs is one of a series I did in 1977 for an art show at the Leslie-Lohman Gallery in NYC.
This piece is one of of about a dozen Pen and ink illustrations of the Greek Gods.
This is a print from the original run, printed in 1977. Fifty copies were made of each piece, but most were lost in a fire. No prints made after 1977 will have my signature on it.
Because of the nature of the Gallery, most of the illustrations were gay/erotic.
I am Dærick Gröss Sr. My son, also an artist is DW Gröss
I can more easily be emailed at: daerickgross@yahoo.com
