Personally I think that true Tango glass is one colour with a contrast trim. However the 2012 Tango Glass exhibitions in the Czech Republic did not agree. Here is some less common Tango Glass. My favourite is back left, amber over white, result beige! Only Welz!

Super display! I too was wondering if the Tango definition includes spatter glass etc, because if I get around to doing a Tango themed photo shoot I'll probably include some pieces which have more than one colour plus a contrasting trim.
The two vases at the back with the four way pulled up top rims - sort of handkerchief style - are a new one on me...never seen that treatment on Tango before!

I look forward to your post. The taller ones at the back are ID'd by their construction. A very thin layer of colour over white giving a really pale shade.

I love this grouping, Peggy! To me, all of your pieces are tango glass. They are all of the same period and style, and in my opinion, intention - strongly contrasting colors on rims and trim or handles, when compared to they main body of the piece.

Something strange is going on here! (What's new?). Lol. I saw this post maybe a couple weeks ago or less and I commented on it, how beautiful I thought everything was and decided to see what everyone else has said, only to find my comment not here!?!

Anyway, I wanted to be sure to say hi and yes, I absolutely love, love all these pieces!

Hi Michelle, I am not challenging the view of the curators of those exhibitions. However l do think that the simple one colour + contrast trim has greater impact. Doesn't stop me having all styles of Tango Glass though!
