    This vase was formerly thought to be made Wilhelm Kralik 1920's Czechoslovaki (in the Southwest).
    Now there is more evidence that this vase was made by Ernst Steinwald and Co. In the Tepliz area (in the North). The shape is a take on the behive vases and is decorated in alternating stripes with pebbles of glass (same color as base color). The piece is then flash iridizes with acids. Hope you enjoy
