I know what you are thinking. The hood on this car is not long enough. But it had a 5,401cc straight eight engine and that is all the room it needed. Apparently it was available in several versions including a 4-seat coupe which apparently is this version. It is a 2 seater with a rumble seat. There was also a limousine version which this not.
This model was introduced in 1981 and sold in this color scheme through 1984. After that it was sold in various paint schemes through 1990. It was made in England until 1987 when production shifted to Macau.
For some reason the post 1970 models are less desirable but they do seem to be decent enough and their day will probably come.
