For my Sea Scout Quartermaster award, I was gifted this ring from a distant family member who believed it to be a 1930-1960s Sea Scout Quartermaster ring. Given what I know of both maritime history and Scouting history, I doubt that to be the case. My suspicion is that it's a naval navigator's ring.
It has a black background (I'm assuming acrylic) with an anchor and wings on a compass rose. It says its sterling on the inside.
If anyone knows anything about it, or knows of a resource I could use to find out more about, I'd be appreciative if you'd drop a comment!
