My mother was a painter and among other subjects, she loved painting clowns. I search often for beautiful clown paintings and about 12 years ago I came across this beautiful work. I had no idea who the artist was until this year...The signature threw me and after jumbling around with only "orango" (the stylized capital L I never picked up on) to go on I discovered this fascinating man, Marcos "Cotti" Lorango, Jr I since have learned that he was so close by and it saddened me to think I missed meeting "Cotti" Some things were just never meant to be, however, I am in love with this early work of his and I would never part with "him." -----Suzan C

Do note that it has no frame and now that I have identified the artist, I will try to find a frame that Cotti may have chosen....His frames were beautiful. --Suzan C.
