Cardigan Vase was how this was described and the pattern does look a bit like those ones Granny would knit back in the days. The pontil is hard to see in the last photo but it definitely is Maltese Cross shaped identifying it as one of Tony's pieces. 125mm high and 125mm across the top frill.
