Not sure exactly what I have, or if it's of any value. I clean houses working doing various jobs for people such as clean out garages, going through boxes and sending things to Good Will for donations. I am given things alot of the time if I see things I like. This item has been stored in my drawer for some time, and I just stumbled upon it, and became more curious as to what it is that I have. Thank you

Probably Japanese, not Chinese. A company named Sankyo made these as souvenirs in the 1970s-80s. They were key chains. Yours is missing the key chain part. They often had a little mirror inside. Lots of these on auction sites like ebay. These are probably not quite old enough to be called vintage. I bought one in Japan in the mid-1970s. Yours is not in great shape, cosmetically. Does it still play?

Seconding kwqd -- the woman in the design is wearing Japanese clothing, not Chinese. (In fact, you can tell that she's wearing summer clothing because she's holding an uchiwa or paddle fan, which is an accessory only in the hot summer months!) So, almost certainly made in Japan. Very sweet design.
