    Just found this guy. A center seam, felt doll, his construction is superb. He has posable fingers ( not mitts ). His face has some contour and is painted, reminiscent of Annalee. Before I realized he’s a matador, he reminded me of a Beatle from Sgt Peppers! Ha!

      Creo que representa a un torero español llamado "el Cordobés " fue famoso por su forma de torear y en aquel momento su look de cabello estilo Beatles, hizo que se le caricaturizara un tanto extravagante. No se quien pudo hacer esta figura, pero averiguaré.

      creo que eres correcto Kellymore! Kelly states here that this guy represents a matador known as 'El Cordobes' who had this specific look - hair like the beatles and a bit extravagant. She doesn't know who could have made this, but it's worth investigating.
