Pairs of uranium glass cups & saucers and shot glasses. The cups & saucers were a gift from a gentleman in exchange for help moving things into his garage after a yard sale. I turned a UV light on them and discovered that my go-to shot glasses were also made of uranium glass, which I hadn’t realized before. That must explain the strange heady feeling I had after drinking from them! Any info on age and make is appreciated; there are no marking on either
While I wouldn't recommend it, the amount of uranium is very small and shouldn't affect you. If were a kid and sat in front of an old tube TV or crt monitor, you got exposed to radiation. We get exposed everyday from different sources.
the cup and saucer are Cambridge Glass #933 part of the "Round Dinnerware" line with their #704 etch
Thanks Dav. I’ve retired them to a display shelf anyway. And thank you for the information TallCakes!
the shots look to be Hocking's Pillar Optic
Thanks again, TallCakes. That does seem accurate
