Before Aynsley England released their own versions of the Nelros design, there was this variant.
This particular Nelros cup was originally the first available of the series. It is to my understanding there is atleast three variants of this cup. 1. The high D shaped handle with the red stripe on handle, with the RP mark. 2. The high D handle by Aynsley 3. The low D Handle (below rim) by Aynsley. Although, I have seen a prototype cup that looked completely different to the original end product, alas the listing lacked crucial info so a big fat question mark on that one. These quirky fortune cups are becoming fairly hard to find, becoming somewhat a rarity if you will.
Fortunately, Nelros products continued to be manufactured and sold as Aynsley ware, with their transfer designs applied to regular Aynsley shapes when business ceased for Nelros. The last release was in 2018 from Aynsley Japan, which come in a colourful range of limited edition sets.
