I am a fan of Coca Cola and have acquired this sign. It was made in 1938 in the USA (printed on the bottom white part) and manufactured in Tennessee ( also printed on the other side on bottom white part opposite side). I also have one of the yellow buttons that went at the bottom. It isn't in as good shape as the main sign. However, it is still beautiful. I don't know anymore about this sign except for its beauty. It is a shame that so many of these old signs were attacked by persons who wanted to do some target practicing.

This is a pretty rare sign and I think I hate for finding it before me,,,,LOL.
Just kidding of course. It is nice and these were made by the same company that made most of the Lolliop or round porcelain curb signs from that era, Nashville Enamel Co. The round ones I'm talking about are the ones that say "DRINK" at the top and "REFRESH!" at the bottom, both in yellow writing with Coca Cola written in white in the center. I've only seen ones like yours in books! Check out my post to see the one I refer to.

This looks exactly like a 1923 example I've seen in the Summers book, pg. 58.

Looks to be missing the top frame that held it but still very cool, is it double sided?
    4. OldieGoldie, 13 years ago
Yes, this a double sided sign but we only have the one button and there was no frame.

Well I still think you may have around $200 to $300 there.

Wow I finally found another one of these signs. I have one in what I would call awesome shape with both buttons, but no bracket. If anyone is interested let me know as it is for sale.
