    Hi all. This clock has been in my family for a very long time and I ended up with it. I have been looking at all of the different case styles and names but can not seem to find this one.. the lable is worn off but you can read ....DING...JE...... Can anyone help me identify the clock? It is dated 1852.

      You don't show the entire case but from what I can see, it looks like you have a Seth Thomas "Iron No. 602" with the visible escapement circa 1886. You mentioned 1852, could that a patent date on the movement? In mint original condition it was most recently valued by Tran Duy Ly at $450.
