"Sommerso" is a glass making technique that requires the method of dipping coloured glass into molten glass of a different colour, before blowing glass into the chosen form.
The colours are seperated & layered, therefore resulting in a submerged effect in the glasswares final form.
The two Sommerso designs from my collection, feature a vibrant yellow exterior surrounded by an incased thick cobalt blue hue. The yellow shade in particular is uranium, which emits a green glow under ultraviolet light. [I use a 395nm light].
