Hi, My Local Thrift-store was Having A 50% Off Black Friday Sale So I Went And they had just put this Crystal regular clock out It was $12.50 with the discount so I purchased it But what is very interesting to me about the clock is that the case is not Brass as most of the Crystal regular clock are but this one is wood the dial is New Haven And has Brass clock Movement it I would love to know more about this clock has anyone ever seen one in a wooden case or is it possibly a marriage,thanks
Hello Tangoes. Great pick for what would have been sales tax at many an antique clock auction! It ooks like you have a New Haven "Tuxford" from circa 1917. The case is solid Mahogany with beveled plate glass on front, back and sides.

New Haven made a number of other Mahogany Crystal Regulators including the Thurston, Theone, Theta and Taunton. All about circa 1917.
