    Wooden bird cage; vintage, or not? This was sold to me for $20 by someone at a community garage sale because my daughter was admiring it, my daughter moved and the birdcage stayed.

      Welcome to CW. I am not a bird cage expert, but I have an opinion.....for $20 ..if anything...I think you have a nice decorative piece. Looking at the construction..it seems suspect.

      Here's a good example. This etsy listing claims to be an antique, but you can clearly see the "made in Philippines" label on the bottom. Your piece has a similar construction when comparing the bottom and wire works.

      thanx @dav2n01 this does not have any tag or markings to identify it by and a bird definitely lived in this thing, but that doesn't mean its valuable :)

      I was simply pointing out the fact that the construction was similar. At the end of the day, you have a nice decorative piece that also functions as a bird cage.
