I found two little bags with these in them at a thrift store for $1 a while ago and i've never figured out what they are. Kind of like links from a very fancy chain or something?? There are two sizes and they are made of some kind of white metal. I posted the photos with the pencil for scale. I hope someone knows!

My opinion is..they are decorative elements to embellish furniture?
Would look cool on a dresser or desk. Could also use them as a stencil.
Could also make a cool hanging light shade?
thanks dav! the small circles on the top and bottom indicate that they somehow hung on something or each other - i think.
