Chinese (?) Silver Bangle

This silver bangle was detected whilst gold detecting in Mt Wells - Pine Creek N.T. gold field, Australia, back in 1981. I have always believed it to be Chinese as historical records indicate that a large population of Chinese lived and worked on the gold field c1880s.
