Here is a 3"H toy bear in green slag glass by Boyd Glass of Cambridge OH. He was named Andy, with B in diamond imprint on underside ca late 1990s

Love his green colour and the size reminds me of a chess piece, wonderful personality achieved as he pats his stomach!~

Phil thank you so much for your awesome & imaginative comment, that is a really great observ that this bear on platform surely does look like a chess piece! It has a very toy like teddy bear look to me, a little cutie which is the last bear design I have from Boyd as posted two other types here, they are small but well designed pieces
He's great, reminds me of a gummy bear?! His color is also very appropriate for the season too and given he's the shape of a teddy bear, he'd make a lovely centerpiece too, like your goose!
I agree with Lauren, a yummy gummy bear.
