This is a 1960s Santa lithograph created by artists Al Moore, who drew Esquire girls in the 1940s and 50s, before Vargas, and made illustrations for the Saturday Evening Post, Collier’s, and other publications (and also played pro football for the Chicago Bears), and John Vickery, an Australian artist briefly associated with Frank O’Hara’s New York School known for his optical paintings and advertising posters, for Philipp Sales Inc., to be hung on a door. Happy holidays!
