I found her about 4 years ago randomly in a shop in SC. Her skin is quite even-tone ivory. I’ve left her hair as I found her and so remnants of her original rubber band remain. I’ve only used a bit of isopropyl alcohol to attempt removal of any staining. Any cleaning suggestions are appreciated.
She is a # 3 with brown eyeliner. Soap and water usually will clean a old barbie. Alcohol not good it could remove her paint.
Take her earring out ! Lucky they have not turned ear green.Beautiful
Thanks Manikin for remarks, recommendations, and advice. I should have mentioned that both dolls are wearing replacement and benign earrings.
There is an oil called Ballistol, which is used to repair the color of celluloid, you can try
Thank you Kellymore for this suggestion. I will look for this product.
Leave the skin color as it is don't try to make it even and ruin her ok .
How did your cleaning work out ?
Hi Manakin, I’ve taken your advice and have used only soap and water. I like her “Elizabethan” skin tone. Sets her apart from the others. Thanks!
