A few more boxes and tansus

I just like how the three painted wooden boxes look together. Each is filled with collections of something or other - mostly pottery. The other photo is just a few of my tansu. maybe 20% of the ones i have in my house right now. Tansu are Japanese made cabinets - some used for tea sets, others for jewelry, writing materials, painting materials, etc... I have some which are very old - at least 200 yrs old, but most were made in the early 20th c or late 19th c.
