Thank you MrsT for the lovely praise and great to see you here, have missed you and hope all went well with your move
Ralph thank you for your awesome compliments, I know that means you give this fish top marks!
Thank you jb for your super praise and I think this is a great color too, the grey is almost translucent as with a real fish. This Kosta Boda animal series was always very attentive to real details, although their being from Sweden I'm not sure exactly what type of fish this is since it's not specified, looks like bass to me. Have a fab New Year as well!
kivatinitz thank you for your gracious New Year wishes and I hope you have a great 2023 as well
Thanks Scott for your wonderful praise & he is a pretty cool swimmer :) I'm glad you checked out the mothersweden website, I actually mainly post that as a disclaimer on these WWF Kosta Boda animals because a certain glass collector here is always on me to put more extensive info in my description & there are too many to list. Enjoy the New Year my friend, although we are NYers we cannot brave the grueling craziness of Times Square so we'll be watching on TV like everyone else
Do you know what kind of fish he is? I'm reminded of some fish like a char or a perch or bream?
He's beautiful and by far my favorite uploads of yours this week- his lovely silver color adds to his sleekness. I can definitely see him in a river somewhere. :)
Very pretty little fish, well worth buying !~
Very grateful for the kind love all

Lauren alas I do not know which fish this was supposed to be, he's very detailed on the body & with the fins, but since the WWF glass animal series made alot of different fish they rarely labeled the type which would have been etched on bottom as with most of their other animals. Char, perch or bream are good guesses, I also thought bass because of his top stripe, but here's a clue, it was made in the mid-80s and an endangered species at that time if that helps to i.d. Very glad he was a fave upload of mine for you this wk, & thank you for your lovely and most awesome praise & insight
Thank you Phil for your wonderful compliment for this fish, he was a bit troublesome to buy as he traveled all the way from Sweden to me which takes about a month to arrive (going through customs at 2 airports!) but well worth the wait. I esp love the larger fish of this series with their pretty ocean-type bases, you actually get better deals on them from overseas sellers though they are never inexpensive, just have to have a lot of patience & pray they are handled gently in transit
Thank you blackbirdsinging for the love, it is very kind of you and much appreciated

Thank you raven for your super praise and love, really glad you liked this fish! There were so many in the Swedish WWF glass series and I am hoping in future to acquire more, I love the realism about them
