    Hello
I've got this glass bird figurine a few weeks ago. It is about 4'' long.
I have been researching hard but I was not able to identify it.
If you look at it from the bottom it looks like clear, bot opalescent all over, except the bottom. It is not marked. It is pritty hike and eavy! It looks like and feels like the opalescent color was etched all over.
I can not give a better description, I've never seen birs figurine like this.
I thought at first that it is Fenton, but I could not find it.
    Can anyone recognize it ?
I woould greatly appreciate it. I love this piece even I am not a figurine type a person. I look at it everyday and I wish I know its brand and history.
    Thank you.

it is a cute little bird but it is not opalescent. It is iridescent. So you might try researching 'iridescent glass bird'

My mom had a couple of these when I was growing up. *This site makes me homesick sometimes*
Anyways, hers were one blue and one red, and murano glass. Hope that helps. She also had two of those hideaous murano glass clowns...ugh.

spell check...I meant the clowns were hideous, not the birds...those I loved! *blush*
