I think that this is a drummers' stool. It's very comfortable and even looks good holding a sculpture. I really like it. Underneath the seat is a Nov 23, 1959 date. i wonder if i can find out more about who it belonged to by the stickers? Found in Berkeley yesterday.

I'd wanna guess a 'mechanic's stool', perhaps decorated by one that was also a musician or something. Could the big black/white sticker in the middle maybe have advertised ADIDAS shoes??
