    Hello.
    I would love to know when this medal was made I just know it is from Italy no initials no indications of gold content just GP (gold plated) on the right hand side by the house

      I don't know anything about the dating of this medal, but I suspect the "GP" (or possibly "SP") would be the initials of the artist. Stamps indicating the metal are more usually found on the back or on the bale. So if you can identify a medallist with those initials, that should help with identification.
      Good luck in your quest for the history of this piece! I find St Christopher medals very charming, and this one is no exception.
      P.S. I can't make out the fine details from your photo, but is that a car parked next to the building on the right -- or just a bit of artistic texture? If there's a car, that may give you a sense of how old this is.
