I don't smoke but I find these items collectible and unique. They date back to mid-century when smoking we very popular and acceptable. The social gatherings always seemed to be accommodating for smokers. One stand is uranium infused and the other is slag glass. The pieces on the slag glass stand are not original. I've looked for the ashtrays, lighter and tobacco can but I cannot find them. Maybe someday I'll run across them.
I never smoked and I loved these ashtrays since 1977 when I started to collect, most of these are strangely collected by people who do not smoke. Love them all !~
Thank you for your comment, PhilDMorris! I just started collecting them recently. Do you believe I got that slag glass stand for $8.00 at a flea market. It doesn't have all the pieces but the slag glass lights up.
