Mostly Mainland Movement Matchbox Monday MB 25 B.P. Tanker 1965-66 in E1 Box

I have posted one of these before but this example is mint and with the box. An E1 style box to be exact. This model had a short life of only 3 years. Its replacement had window glass but otherwise had less features than this model. It was first produced in 1965 and was sold through 1967. The E style boxes were used from 1964 through 1968. This being the first version of the E Box, called E1, I am thinking this is from the first year of production which was 1965.
The neat feature of this model is that the cab folds down to reveal the engine. Actually you have to fold down the seats to reveal the engine. Thus after delivering petrol to the BP station they can work on the truck.
Next week will be the same model but in an E3 box. It will be great.
