Hello Everyone!!
I recently acquired this small fox sculpture. It's incredibly detailed and well sculpted. I love the pose of this fox. It's weighted sterling silver, not solid. I believe this one was made of plaster and then plated with sterling silver. I'm not sure of the age of this one, but I'm certain it's no more than 50 years old.

Gorgeous piece, the sculpting is excellent. Maybe possibly resin also they can do wonders now with the resin. Great for your collection, this is a beautiful piece you found !~
Something I know nothing about but I did find it on etsy with a couple images, however the item was removed.

Thanks very much!!! This one is too light for the core to be resin. Most of the weighted sterling silver pieces had a core of wax, clay, copper or lead. Due to the weight of this piece, I'm willing to believe this one has a clay core. But, I could be wrong about that.

Hi Scott, guess who? Ha! Just dropped by to say hi and miss you! This looks like Reddy Fox! Very nice as always! Have you see the flood here on the central coast?
