This one came as a pleasant surprise to my collection. She is a vintage Junior Decter Mannequin from about 1967. Her original catalogue pictures displays her era well! At first, I thought someone had repainted her upper body with a paint brush (not good), but later some expert friends informed me that she is done in a oil portrait texture finish, which was offered as a choice of finishes back in the 1960s and early 1970s, and is very rare to find a mannequin with this finish after so many years. She is affectionately now named "Woodstock" after the famous 1969 music festival in Bethel New York. For fun I've done her up in a more modern alternative outfit rather than a 60s hippie look. Very happy to add her to my collection of vintage mannequins, and to preserve a bit of fashion history while doing it. Thanks for taking a look!
She is wonderful and love how you choose the right clothes and Woodstock name suits her fine :-) Great find
