    Hello out there!
Looking for any info on this antique candle sconce. No markings on it. Just wondering if anyone can tell anything about its age, maker, etc by the style, design, fasteners, primitive-ness. I believe it is quite old. Possibly Paul Revere? (Hahaha!) Magnet does stick to it pretty hard. Wish I could post more pics! Thanks in advance.

Just my observations..the slot in the screw looks narrow and very uniform vs a handmade screw. Same with the rivets..they look very uniform vs a hand hammered rivet.

dav2no1, thanks for your observations. are you referring to the actual rivets (2) that hold the bottom and the back together, or the "beads" in the design? And the scroll work (however it is created) doesn't match side to side, even the same designs, so to me would be done by hand.
