Thanks Phil for your super comment, it is a really pretty turquoise blue shade I love it too
Scott thank you for the awesome compliment, it is a very lovely 'stretch cat's that has a modern look even today, and it's always great to find an animal in this blue
Lol Kevin, this is my fave 'Swedish blue' glass and I sure have plenty of it :) Thanks for your wonderful praise for this kitty
Thank you so much Searching for your terrific comment/compliment and you are right, it's incredible that the labels survive after so many years. Because I don't have alot of ref books about international glass, when I buy a non-US animal I almost always get one with even a partial label or some other i.d. like an etched name, as often sellers have misinformation or are just guessing about the maker & I always try to post something with as much identification as possible
Karen that is the perfect statement about this cat, simplicity of design - it's a cat for sure, but the design is so spare and I think quite Swedish! The face is very cute though, it has cat features tho my pix may not have highlighted them - in hindsight I should have done a closeup of the face but oh well. Thank you for your marvelous comment
Many thanks Elaine for the love for this Swedish cat, I really like your new cat post as well & agree with Karen/Racer that it looks more Murano
I just loved the technique and colour well worth reprising I think. I do think my new cat has a endearingly vacant look but is so beautifully made and she came to me without damage. Happy find !
