I hear there are only about 3 of these known of The Three Red Pearls and Rhinestone Brooch. It is one of Sherman's finest with a Japanned Black back, and these rare Red Pearl Drops. The black Japanning of the back is like mint. It comes with a pair of earrings although no drops on them. I also show an example of the single red brooch in a Blue Pearl drop !~
Wow it took me many years to go up to 200 Posts as some people almost seem to get there in a couple months, but I always posted and wondered if anyone really cared. But then I realized it was with a fading memory it can hit you and then you had no story on it and everything that you thought was a significant event turned out - tossed out the window. I post here now to just put down things that seemed more important now that I realize it is so easy for us to get to that point. Maybe Gustave Sherman would have joined us here if he had lost hope that his business was over and no one cared anymore. ..... H

Wow! This is an incredible piece! Red is my favorite color of jewelry and it seems, the most sought after! You always show us magnificent pieces Phil! Drop brooches are hard to find and in perfect condition after all these decades, makes it even more incredible!
