Nice piece and colour candy !~
Very nice glass elephant. It would be so funny if he was in bright pink, but I do love the bright green! He makes for a very surreal, very odd looking glass sculpture which I love!
Beautiful elephant!! The emerald green is such a great color on this one!
Love the green!
The elephant trunk up meaning is distributing energy, luck, prosperity, and goodness.
I did not know about Nason glass animals, thanks for this post
It's the legs for me, beautifully elongated and shaped.
With thanks to everybody for the love

Thanks Phil for your super praise, it is a pretty nice Murano elephant & was a lucky find for me
Lauren the bright green is very special from this Murano maker, who most often made grey & brown glass animals (I have another of his elephants in brown posted here but a different pose). I guess you could call it surreal but for a Murano, at least you can tell it's an elephant as they can make some oddly shaped animals. Thank you for your fab comment as always
Thank you Scott for the wonderful compliments, he is quite a pretty 'trumpeter' and I too love that green
Falcon you are so right, trunk up is the luckiest elephant pose, my grandmother collected ceramic elephants & they always had to be trunk raised for all the reasons you mentioned! Thank you for your awesome comment
Thanks kivatinitz for your great comment & I am so glad to show you an animal from Vincenzo Nason (Murano had other, older artists like Ermanno Nason but Vincenzo did alot of animals). V. Nason & C. started using the clear glass label here between 1989 and 2001 when he stopped production. He founded his co in 1967 & trained at Venini Murano
Searching thanks as ever for your marvelous praise, I know you love green and am always happy to find this color animal hoping you'll enjoy
I totally concur Karen, the legs have a lovely shape on this elephant, they almost look like artist brushstrokes & he even included feet. Thanks for your terrific comment & excellent observ
Thank you Daisy for the love for this Murano green elephant, I'm so glad you liked it and always grateful for your thoughtful consideration
A green ephalant…how could you not love it!..
Thank you Penny for your super comment & love, much appreciated - I know, the bright green of this elephant is really eye catching, sometimes I can't find glass animals in this color & was really glad to get him
